Tim Pocock - Trumpet
Founder of the band (with help), Tim works as the Finance Director for Dawkes Music Ltd during the day. He has played trumpet in a local big band for many years but also plays frech horn in two local orchestras.

Pete Hills - Trombone
(Founder helper!) Since 1st picking up a trombone at the age of 7, Pete has studied under renowned trombonists including the famous Maisie Ringham.
Although trombone is Pete´s 1st love, he also plays Tuba and was the original Bass guitarist in 80´s rock band "Not Quite Jerusalem".
When not fixing computer databases for a leading telecomms company or playing with Funktion 5, Pete can also be heard playing as principle trombone with the RAFA President´s Band.
Pete Says: "I´m really excited about playing with Funktion 5......and its great to be playing the music I really love with such awesome musicians"

Dave Roberts - Bass Guitar
Dave started on guitar at the age of 14, and was in his first band at the age of 18. Dave´s real strength is the bass guitar, but he also plays the acoustic and electric guitar, keyboard, percussion, has tried sax and drums, but says he is still trying!.
When asked what his musical influences are, he replied "Everybody I have ever played in a band with"
When asked what his favourite track is, he replied "Haven´t finished writing it yet"
When questioned about his ambitions, he said he´d like to be a "chopper pilot".
Prior to joining Funktion 5, Dave has managed to compile an impressive resume of work too extensive to list here but includes recording for LWT´s "Airline" TV program. A true professional in every sense.
